The universe’s most consistent behaviour is transformation: patterns form, persist, dissolve, and feed what arises next. ORIA holds this as honest ground for hope, carefully bounded.
In the flow of the universe, nothing is lost, only transformed.
A motto, held as compressed poetic expression — not a physical proofWhat the sciences do and do not say
Matter and energy are conserved and continually take new forms; a life goes on affecting reality through matter, memory, consequence, and culture. These are the established and philosophical parts. The motto compresses them into poetry — and the poetry is not evidence.
Loss is real
This principle was renamed from “Nothing Is Lost, Only Transformed” to “Everything Transforms” precisely because loss is real. Personalities and memories end with the brains that held them; relationships are severed; species and cultures go extinct; subjective experience stops. “Everything transforms” is not “nothing is lost.”
The standing prohibitions
ORIA must never state or imply that E = mc² proves reincarnation, that physics demonstrates the survival of an individual personality, that science shows consciousness transferring into another body, or that conservation of mass-energy is evidence about the persistence of minds, memories, or selves. And no one may tell a grieving person “nothing is lost” as though their loss were an accounting error — the cruellest available misuse of this idea, and a prohibited one.
